Molly is a graduate of the University of Georgia, earning both her Bachelor in Psychology and Master of Social Work degrees. Molly primarily works with adolescents and has experience working with groups and families in psychiatric settings.
Molly’s approach is person-centered, meaning she enjoys collaborating with clients so treatment reflects their unique needs. Molly believes that humans have everything they need already within themselves. It is the therapist’s role to provide a safe and judgment-free space where clients can try on new ideas, problem solve, and reach their full potential.
Through DBT, Molly helps adolescents and their families navigate challenging behaviors, guiding them towards coping well with distress and self-acceptance. Molly is a Licensed Master Social Worker (#MSW008233). Molly has lived in Athens for the past eight years and is excited to be joining the Athens DBT team.
